A glimpse into Naomi's journey, passions, and unique story.

Meet Naomi Gogas

Naomi’s journey into yoga began as a deeply personal search for healing, awareness, and inner peace. Over the years, that journey has shaped her into a teacher whose presence is both grounding and inspiring. For Naomi, yoga has never been about the perfect pose — it’s about the evolution, the small shifts, and the profound clarity that grows from consistent practice.

She completed her 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training with Art of Yoga in 2019, but her real transformation came through life’s unexpected challenges. Later that year, a sudden, paralyzing sensation in her legs led to a series of tests that revealed a large benign tumor on her L4–L5 vertebrae. In January 2020, Naomi underwent major spinal surgery — a moment that completely reshaped her relationship with her body and her practice.

Through recovery, she leaned into yoga as both guide and companion. Her practice helped her understand her body’s signals, rebuild strength, and return to natural movement with gratitude and patience. This lived experience fuels her passion for helping others move with intention, intelligence, and compassion.

As an alignment specialist and RYT500 certified instructor, Naomi encourages the use of props and mindful modifications so each student can experience the fullest expression of every posture in a way that honors their unique body. Her teaching style is accessible, empowering, and rooted in the belief that yoga should meet you exactly where you are.

Naomi loves sharing the magic of this practice — and chances are, you’ll fall in love with it too. We are honored to have her as a facilitator, guiding our community with wisdom, authenticity, and the kind of presence that invites everyone to feel both supported and seen.
